THE CHURCH ON A CROSS ROAD
As I was reflecting on issues concerning the church of our Lord Jesus
Christ at this end time, I just discovered that my heart was bleeding.
Questions upon questions started troubling my already wounded heart.
Some of the questions include:
The Bible, God's Holy word is true but why is truth an essential and
scarce commodity in lives of many Christians today?
Jesus Christ will soon appear in the cloud to take a spotless church,
but which church (cooperate or individual) is without spot or
wrinkle?
jesus said, my kingdom is not for this world but ministers are
building their own kingdoms and making their followers to share
their fate.Whose report shall we believe?
Every church from January to December talks about breakthroughs,
prosperity, land/family deliverance, etc. Are our breakthroughs not
breaking us down and out of our divine mandate? Many are captives
of one sin/habit or the other, and yet, some of them are ministers and
church workers shouting from the pulpits and yet they are not
delivered.What is God saying to the church of today?
Family values, family life and family unity are all disappearing and it
seems that no one cares, what is the church doing? Is it not time to
sanitize our pulpit so that there will be sanity in the church? The
sanitization programme must start in families if the church will be
alive again.
Brothers and sisters, isn't the church on a cross road? Shall we not we
